Best Wineries In Kelowna For Lunch

Best Wineries In Kelowna For Lunch – Now when people hear the word Okanagan, it conjures up pleasant images of sipping wine and eating delicious food on a patio with a great view. Yes, our wine country is no longer a secret and food and wine lovers from all over the world dream of visiting our wonderful little corner of the universe.

There are a variety of great restaurants to visit in the Kelowna area, but the wineries draw you in the most. Here are four of my favorite wineries to dine at and where I take my guests for the ultimate Kelowna experience.

Best Wineries In Kelowna For Lunch

A long lakeside drive to one of our most famous wineries really adds to the dining experience when they arrive. At your destination, CedarCreek’s stunning architecture will greet you and welcome you to the Home Block restaurant. I like the patio, but all the tables are well spaced. Chef Neil Taylor is a gift to our culinary world and his menu is exquisite. It’s comfort food on a whole new level, with several dishes featuring a wood-fired grill using wood from local gardens and seasonal planks. I have to order the calamari as part of my meal ritual (it’s a cult favorite with locals) and recommended with Cedarcreek sparkling wine or pinot gris. You can’t go wrong with their pasta creations.

The 7 Best Local Restaurants Located Minutes From Mckinley Beach

I love that the Garden Bistro at Lake Country’s Peak Cellars draws from the huge on-site organic garden. Here at our B.C. One of the wine industry’s most exciting winery projects (ask about amazing caves and designs for the next wineries coming soon), guests can relax on their patios or inside and enjoy views of the working vineyards with the lake in the background. The huge outdoor wood-fired oven offers amazing pizzas and other lovely dishes to pair with their wine selection. My favorite is the lobster pizza and their delicious Pinot Noir Rose.

Here at one of our pioneering wineries, you’ll find everything you’ve ever dreamed of in a winery restaurant. Impressive, charming and unpretentious, the Old Vines restaurant offers its guests an extraordinary view of the lake that sparkles above the rolling vines. Terrace tables as well as indoor tables that take full advantage of the view from the windows will tempt you to stay a while and fall in love with winery life. This food is of the highest quality and symbolizes the local cuisine of our beautiful valley and province. Here, I usually can’t start a meal without truffle parmesan fries with a glass of Chardonnay before diving into the fresh fish.

The Terrace Restaurant is the showroom for Mission Hill Family Estate Winery. Majestically perched atop Mission Hill in West Kelowna, the castle is home to our most epic winery offering breathtaking views of the lake and mountains of our dreams. The view from the side tables on the patio offers beautiful views of the beautiful Okanagan. Book a long glamorous lunch here to spin and sample the chef team’s creations. The locavore menu and wine pairings are excellent – the charcuterie board is always creative and I love the wild caught scallops. Then try to peel back down to the real world.
