Right on the pier, a few minutes’ walk from the salt sea and its natural bounty, Apollo Bay Fisherman’s Lodge is the best place in town for fish and chips and some of the best cheap food in town. Of course, this morning you can get classic flounder, cod or snapper caught in Bass Strait.
However, if you are looking for something really special, we recommend the southern lobster or crab, for which this part of the coast is world famous. Prices vary depending on the season and quality of the catch, but expect to pay a bit more than your average chips at this seafood restaurant.
