During our recent stay in December, standard rooms at Hotel Duque de Nájera were only $72/night – for a 4-star hotel! The hotel has four floors. The top sea view rooms have a large patio with table, chairs and a sun lounger. Ground floor sea view rooms have terraces, also with tables and chairs. The city view rooms have French balconies, which means you can enjoy the view of the historic center of Rota, but there is no seating.
Pro Tip: For the best views from your room, request an ocean view on the 3rd floor.

El Embarcadero is one of the best restaurants in Rota, Spain. Although it is part of the hotel, most of the customers are not guests of the hotel as the restaurant is also popular with the locals. The food is excellent and you should definitely eat there during your stay. El Embarcadero is more expensive than your average Rota restaurant, but still a bargain compared to similar restaurants in the US. The quality of the food is worth the price.
