We were close to this village. I rented a golf cart because it wasn’t on pavement, but it was a quiet retreat that I loved. Kitchens, verandas with bathrooms and a private beach, plus friendly staff.

I recommend at least one snorkeling trip in Placentia. The corals are beautiful and it is exciting to see colorful tropical fish, rays, nurse sharks and sea turtles. We also saw a smooth eagle ray!
