In short, Sam Jones’ new restaurant is one of America’s most exciting openings in 2021. The third famous place and James Beard Award finalist from the long A-line family that lives and works Eastern-style barbecue. . His grandfather opened the famous Skylight Inn in Ayden, NC, in 1947, and Jones opened the first Sam Jones BBQ restaurant seven miles away on Winterville Road in 2015. The menu, of course, shines at -180 barbecue. – pork belly cooked in the fire for 16 hours, the skin puffed to a hard and crunchy beauty with two pieces of meat. Salt, pepper, cider vinegar and hot sauce complete the product in the best way.

This new Italian restaurant in Holly Springs is backed by a big name – Gianni Cinelli moved to the Raleigh area from New York more than twenty years ago and has owned or co-owned more than 20 establishments. restaurants (including Vivo Ristorante Pizzeria in North Raleigh). So it’s no surprise that the food and wine pack a punch. Pasta and pizza – made with good ingredients – are off the menu, and it would be nice to start with a batch (or two) of Sicilian rice balls before eating Grandma Margahrita’s “Famous Cinelli” cake!

To the delight of locals, this Texas taco chain has opened its first Tar Heel State location in Raleigh’s East Midtown shopping center. Choose a taco (or three!), add chips and queso and a margarita and grab a seat on the outdoor patio for a night out in the City of Oaks.

This Italian grocery store carries on a long family tradition – Bongiorno’s grandfather owned a restaurant in New York’s Little Italia, and his grandfather owned an Italian deli in New Jersey. This sandwich shop has soups, sandwiches, cheeses, sausages, pasta, breads and more.
