During my week in Cozumel, I was able to dive with ScubaTony eight times, which I recommend for your next dive in Cozumel. Not only are they less than professional, but they are easy going and fun to have.
Their boats are small, so you won’t find them in many varieties – at least, you will be older. I think this allows for a better diving experience.

If I don’t take my diving gear away, I break all my weapons with it, so I can say it’s the best, the newest and the best.
Now, here are my five favorite dive sites in Cozumel. As a side note, my photos don’t do these dive sites justice but trust me, they are beautiful!
This is a fun dive, but part of it is because of the strong currents that often occur in the water.
I spent most of this 55 minute dive just kicking my fins, but we managed to glide across the ocean for what seemed like miles. (I believe we re-entered the Yucab dive area due to the current industry)

The reef ranges from 30 to 60 feet deep and has many ledges and coral building holes perfect for large lobsters and crabs to hide in.
During the dive, the nurse hid a few places and slept under the holes of the corrals, and a few eels remained.
Although I was not lucky enough to see them and the pigeon, you can see sea lions in October and November.
Although I made these two places in two places, they are part of one reef – Palancar Reef.
Cozumel Dive Trips
Palancar Reef is over 1.5 miles long and has several dive sites ranging in depth from 30 to 90 feet.
Palancar Reef is a good place to dive if you are a beginner because the current is not as strong as Tormentos or other dive sites in Cozumel Reef.
The difference between these two places is that they have beautiful rocks, many feet from the sea, tunnels and canyons where you can swim.
Both areas are full of marine life such as turtles, nurse sharks, and eagle rays (during summer – December to April) and various colors of coral that result in underwater beauty.

Palancar Gardens has a beautiful spring to swim in. These tunnels are not very long and you can see sunlight coming from the sky or entering and exiting them. It is a blessing to receive.
My fortune here was special as I was diving with UFC Fighter Cowboy Cerrone. I admit I didn’t know much about it before, but it was fun to make a “sign knight” underwater.
Herradura, on the other hand, Palancar has an entrance in the forest where you jump from the top to the bottom where you go down about 60 meters, from where you can start swimming.
Casablanca is named after the white house on the beach near the dive site, but people, or at least my scuba diver Tony, also call the place Jurassic Park.

Consider this an “underwater wildlife” area, where you can see one of the more than 500 species found on the Cozumel Reef.
Although you can see many of these species throughout Cozumel and the Mesoamerican Reef, for some reason, most of them are contained here, so they are very easy to see.
You can see three of the seven species of turtles that exist around the world, namely the Green Turtle, the Loggerhead Turtle, and the Hawksbill Turtle.
Cozumel seems to have an old Loggerhead turtle that may be over 100 years old (based on the size and moss on its shell), and I was able to find it here! (This turtle is called Mr. T by the guys at ScubaTony)

My picture of Mr. The T is incorrect, as this turtle is a Hawksbill. Manager. T is great, though!
And, I was so happy when I saw a big, beautiful Eagle! Although it’s still early, I surrender to the middle of May, because the weeks end in their season.
Other marine animals such as giant lobsters, nurse sharks, bull sharks, sparrows, triggerfish, barracudas, and manta rays, etc., are also seen.
This dive is almost impossible, but I was so excited that I offered my urine and simply replied, “Ask your friends to dive. If they’re okay with it, let’s go!”
Mexico Blue Dream Playa Del Carmen Dive Sites
Since there were four of us, it was easy to focus on them. I said, “Do you want to jump ship in WWII?”
This is what I said before the diving at ScubaTony is really good. They are easy to move and if you are going to focus on something, and work with the whole focus system, they are more than you like to do.

Measuring 184 feet long, 33 feet wide, and 40 feet high from the keel to the top of the superstructure, this is the second largest ship to be launched in modern times, which draws my attention to it as I love shipwrecks.
The dive starts from a very low level and you slowly swim around the boat to make your way.
Along the way there are several doors where you can see some of the interior, some decorated rooms below, some corridors, random rooms, and the bridge from where the ship was heading.
Depending on your skills, you can see the bathroom! (It’s small, so not everyone goes)

For fun you can stand where guns have been seen. while the marine life is not as good as previous dive sites, you can still see several schools of fish swimming in and around some rooms.
Another place Palancar, no wonder! Palancar Reef is the best and most beautiful of the entire Cozumel Reef.
We have already explained how beautiful this place is when I describe Palancar Gardens and Herradura Palancar, but for me, Palancar Caves offers both, but by a long way.
In addition, Palancar Caves has very beautiful caves and a swimming pool that allows you to jump between tunnels, caves and coral walls.
Popular Dive Sites Of Cozumel
As in Palancar’s previous sites, the cave was full of marine life and the beautiful color of the rock, making it almost invisible. I want to check this site a few more times because I think I can find out a lot more.
The diving in Cozumel is amazing, and these are just five of my favorite dive sites, but there are others that I haven’t seen yet and I’m sure I’ve mentioned these, if not.
One thing I can guarantee is that Cozumel has these healthy and varied activities that can keep you busy for weeks!
You can find cheap flights using Skyscanner or Kayak. These are the two websites I use the most for extensive research on many websites and international airlines. They usually carry very cheap prices.
